Witchblade serves as the sheriff of a small town in Colorado. After a confrontation, however, suspicion begins to grow around her. The townspeople start to believe that she might be a witch. Fear and mistrust spread quickly, until she is ultimately forced to leave the town.

No sooner has Witchblade crossed the town limits than a new threat descends upon the community. A ruthless gang takes advantage of her absence and begins to terrorize the town. But the one person who could have protected the people is no longer there.

Now the townsfolk must face the danger on their own. Without their former sheriff, they are left to wonder: How will they survive as the darkness closes in and their protector is gone?
